Lab 1 – Cloud Concepts & Account Setup

Learning Outcomes

• Differentiate IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
• Identify AWS / GCP / Linode examples for each model.
• Confirm you can access the shared portal at http://50.116.28.213:31380.

Tasks

1. Open the lab portal in your browser:

   http://50.116.28.213:31380

   Confirm you can see the list of all labs.
2. In your notes, define:
   • IaaS – Infrastructure as a Service
   • PaaS – Platform as a Service
   • SaaS – Software as a Service
3. For each provider (AWS, Google Cloud, Linode), list at least:
   • 2 IaaS services
   • 1 PaaS service
   • 1 SaaS example
4. Log into each console (AWS, GCP, Linode) and capture a screenshot of the home dashboard for your lab report.
